Our Mission

Our mission is to promote a quality Judaic studies program for a diverse community of Jewish children. We teach children the meaning, relevance and importance of Jewish life and religious observances. Included in our curriculum is an acquisition of basic knowledge of the Hebrew language. We nurture our children with a dedication to the American Jewish community and to the State of Israel.

Educational Philosophy

The philosophy of our school is to develop a caring community where all children are part of the learning process, and each child participates in a variety of programs and activities. The focus is on personal growth and development for each individual child, in conjunction with learning the subject matter of our curriculum.

Family Events

The JCV Religious School includes the following events in its schedule: Shabbat family dinners prior to congregational services, a Chanukah party, a Purim Carnival, and a model Passover Seder. Parent meetings are held once a month to discuss school activities.

All parents are encouraged to participate in our various special programs and celebrations. Coffee and conversation meetings are scheduled for the first Sunday of each month. Parents are urged to attend.
